EQUIPMENT RENTAL AGREEMENT.

Terms and conditions that apply when hiring equipment from Goodtime DJ Hire.

Rental Terms

1.1 The booking covers the rental date(s) and times confirmed at the time of booking. Any changes to the date, time, or location may result in additional fees.

1.2 Goodtime DJ Hire reserves the right to substitute any equipment with equivalent alternatives if the originally booked gear becomes unavailable.

1.3 If Goodtime DJ Hire cancels the booking due to reasons beyond our control, a full refund of any payments made will be provided.

1.4 Full payment is required prior to the rental period. The final balance is due 7 days before the start of the hire unless otherwise agreed in writing.

1.5 Any additional gear or services not included in the original booking may incur extra charges.

Goodtime Dj Hire Duties

2.1 All equipment provided will be in working condition and will be delivered and/or set up as agreed.

2.2 If setup and pack-down are part of the agreement, these will be done in a timely and professional manner.

2.3 Equipment will be maintained to a high standard but is not electrically test-tagged unless legally required by the venue.

2.4 Any known faults or damages will be clearly communicated before handover.

2.5 Goodtime DJ Hire is not liable for delays or failure to deliver due to factors beyond our control, including extreme weather, traffic, or emergencies.

2.6 Support contact details will be provided for basic troubleshooting if needed during the hire period.

Client Duties

3.1 The client must allow sufficient access time for setup and pack-down if included. Delays or early access requests may incur extra fees.

3.2 Equipment must be used responsibly and only for its intended purpose.

3.3 Any damage, theft, or loss during the rental period is the client's responsibility and will be charged accordingly.

3.4 Equipment must not be altered, modified, or sub-hired without prior written consent.

3.5 Adequate power supply, protection from weather, and a safe environment must be provided.

3.6 The client is responsible for checking that the equipment is suitable for the venue and event needs, including compliance with any venue-specific requirements.

3.7 If the equipment is being picked up/returned by the client, it must be transported safely in a suitable vehicle.

3.8 Equipment must be returned in the same condition it was delivered. Late returns may incur additional fees.

3.9 A meal is not required unless a Goodtime DJ Hire staff member is staying on-site for the duration of the event (e.g., tech support at a wedding or activation).

3.10 All relevant permissions or permits related to the use of audio or lighting equipment at the venue must be secured by the client.
